Join us for this adventure to experience by Kayak some of the most pristine wilderness on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. From Gold River we will make our way along the Nootka Sound to alluring Rosa Island and then onto to the sandy beaches of Benson Point - our base camp, from which we explore the channels and inlets of this stunning and remote region. Our lead guide Mark Hall has over 14 years guiding experience. ITINERARY: Day 1 - Meet at Campbell River Transfer to Gold River Overnight in motel at Gold River Day 2 - Early departure by the Uchuck III to Rosa Island Off load from the Uchuck III Overnight on Rosa Island Day 3 - Travel by kayak to Benson Point which will be Our base camp for 5 nights Days 4, 5, 6, & 7 We take day trips from Base Camp exploring the wilderness Day 8 - Kayak from our Base at Benson Point to our Pick up point at Rosa Island Overnight on Rosa Island Day 9 - Load onto the Uchuck III To travel back to Gold River Overnight at Gold River Day 10 - Transfer back to Campbell River Cost $2150.00 CAD (approx. $1860.00 USD) Plus G.S.T. $119.34 (approx. $111.60 USD) Included features : Return transfers between Campbell River and Gold River 2 nights shared accommodation in Gold River 7 nights tenting in the wilderness with all meals Individual Delta Kayaks with one tandem kayak available.
